Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 24, 2026
Welcome to CoreMind Psychology, PC, doing business as CoreMind Therapy (“Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.coremind-therapy.com (the “Website”).
Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Website and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our web pages.
By accessing or using this Website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (“Agreements”). If you do not agree to these Agreements, please do not use the Website.
These Agreements apply to your use of the Website only. They do not replace or modify the informed consent, treatment agreement, financial policies, Notice of Privacy Practices, telehealth consent, or other documents that govern your relationship with the Practice as a therapy client.
Website Information Is for General Information Only
The information provided on this Website is intended for general educational and informational purposes.
Website content is not psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care.
Reading information on this Website, submitting a contact form, sending an email/text/or call, requesting an appointment, or otherwise communicating with the Practice through the Website does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship.
A professional relationship is established only after the Practice has completed its intake and acceptance process and has agreed to provide services to you.
No Emergency or Crisis Services
The Website and the Practice's electronic communication methods are not intended for emergencies or crisis situations.
The Practice does not provide emergency or crisis services through this Website, email, contact forms, online scheduling, text messaging, or other electronic communications.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, believe you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or otherwise require immediate assistance, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States.
Please do not rely on a response from the Practice to a website form, email, call, text message, or appointment request for urgent or emergency assistance.
Contact and Electronic Communications
You may use the contact information and forms provided on this Website to inquire about services, scheduling, availability, and other practice-related matters.
Electronic communications, including email, website forms, phone, and text messages, may involve privacy and security risks and may not be appropriate for communicating sensitive clinical information.
Please do not submit highly sensitive or confidential health information through a website contact form or ordinary email unless the Practice has specifically instructed you to do so.
The Practice does not guarantee that messages sent through the Website, email, or other electronic communication methods will be received, reviewed, or answered within a particular period.
If the Practice provides you with a secure client portal or other designated communication method, you should use that method for sensitive clinical communications when instructed.
Therapy Services
Information about the Practice's services, treatment approaches, areas of focus, availability, fees, insurance participation, and other offerings is provided for general informational purposes and may change from time to time.
Actual therapy services are governed by the applicable client agreement, informed consent documents, financial policies, telehealth consent, and other documents provided to clients.
The Practice reserves the right to determine whether its services are clinically appropriate for a particular individual and whether the Practice can provide services based on factors including clinical needs, availability, licensure, location, scope of practice, and other applicable requirements.
Telehealth Services
The Practice may provide psychotherapy and related professional services through telehealth.
Telehealth services are subject to applicable federal and state laws, professional requirements, and the Practice's telehealth policies and informed consent procedures.
Telehealth may involve benefits as well as risks and limitations, including technology failures or interruptions, privacy and security risks, limitations in observing nonverbal communication, and other limitations associated with providing services remotely.
When required, clients receiving telehealth services may be asked to confirm their identity and physical location at the beginning of a session or otherwise during treatment.
You are responsible for participating in telehealth sessions from a location where the Practice is legally permitted to provide services and where you can reasonably maintain privacy.
The Practice may be unable to provide telehealth services if you are physically located in a jurisdiction where the Practice is not authorized or otherwise permitted to provide services.
Telehealth requirements may change based on applicable law and professional regulations.
Third-Party Platforms and Service Providers
The Practice may use third-party companies and technology platforms to assist with administrative, scheduling, insurance, billing, payment, communication, telehealth, and other practice functions.
These companies may provide administrative or technology services but do not themselves replace the professional relationship between you and your treating clinician.
Your use of a third-party platform may also be subject to that company's separate terms of service, privacy policies, consent forms, payment terms, and other agreements.
You should review the applicable third-party terms before using those services.
The Practice is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, policies, or terms of third-party platforms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Insurance and Insurance-Billing Services
The Practice may participate in certain insurance plans directly or may use third-party platforms or administrative services to assist with insurance eligibility verification, claims submission, billing, payment collection, and related administrative functions.
Insurance participation and coverage can vary by plan, location, employer, benefit structure, and other factors.
Being listed as accepting a particular insurance plan does not guarantee that your specific plan will cover a particular service or that a particular service will be paid by your insurer.
Insurance eligibility and benefit information obtained before a session is not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company.
You are ultimately responsible for understanding your insurance benefits and for any applicable deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, non-covered services, denied claims, or other financial responsibility that applies to you, subject to applicable law and your agreements with the Practice.
Where applicable, you may be asked to provide insurance information and authorize the Practice and/or its authorized billing partners to submit claims and receive payment on the Practice's behalf.
Third-party platforms may have their own financial responsibility, insurance, and payment terms that apply to services processed through their platforms.
Payments and Payment Platforms
The Practice may use third-party payment processors and healthcare payment platforms.
When you use a third-party payment service, you may be required to provide payment information directly to that service and agree to its applicable terms and conditions.
The Practice may authorize an applicable payment platform to process payments for services provided by the Practice, including applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, self-pay amounts, cancellation fees, or other charges that are permitted under the Practice's financial policies and applicable law.
Your use of a payment platform may be governed by additional terms provided by that platform.
The Practice does not control the independent systems, security practices, availability, or policies of third-party payment processors.
For questions regarding a specific charge, please contact the Practice using the contact information provided to you or through the designated billing channel.
Fees, Cancellations, and Financial Policies
Fees, payment arrangements, cancellation policies, late-cancellation or missed-appointment fees, insurance billing practices, and other financial responsibilities are governed by the Practice's financial policies and applicable client agreements.
Those policies may be provided separately during the intake process and may contain terms that are more specific than the information provided on this Website.
In the event of a conflict between these Website Terms and a signed financial policy or client agreement, the applicable client agreement or financial policy will control to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy and Confidentiality
The Practice takes client privacy and confidentiality seriously.
Privacy, confidentiality, protected health information, medical records, and related matters are governed by the Practice's applicable privacy documents and informed consent materials.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to replace, limit, or modify rights or protections provided to clients under applicable federal or state law.
Because the Practice may use third-party administrative, insurance, payment, scheduling, and technology platforms, certain information may be processed through those services as permitted by applicable law and the Practice's privacy documentation.
Third-Party Websites and Links
This Website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including insurance, scheduling, payment, telehealth, professional, educational, or other resources.
Third-party websites are not controlled by the Practice.
The Practice does not necessarily endorse and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites.
Your use of a third-party website or service is subject to that provider's own terms and policies.
No Guarantee of Therapeutic Results
Psychotherapy and other mental health services can be beneficial, but individual experiences and outcomes vary.
The Practice does not guarantee any particular therapeutic outcome, improvement, diagnosis, treatment result, or other benefit.
Information presented on this Website should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of a particular result.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this Website—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, written materials, and other original content—is owned by or licensed to the Practice and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use Website content for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission from the Practice, except as permitted by applicable law.
Testimonials and Reviews
Any testimonials or reviews displayed on the Website are provided in accordance with applicable law and professional requirements.
Individual experiences vary, and testimonials should not be understood as a guarantee or representation that another person will have the same experience or outcome.
The Practice will not knowingly disclose protected health information in connection with a testimonial or review except as permitted by applicable law and appropriate authorization.
Website Availability and Accuracy
The Practice makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current information on the Website.
However, the Practice does not guarantee that Website content will always be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or free from errors.
Information regarding services, availability, fees, insurance participation, and other practice policies may change without notice.
The Website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical difficulties, or circumstances outside the Practice's control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Practice is not responsible for losses or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or from your reliance on general informational content provided through the Website.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude, or limit any rights, remedies, duties, or protections that cannot legally be waived, excluded, or limited.
Changes to These Terms
The Practice may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this Website and the “Last Updated” date may be revised.
Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes to the terms governing your actual therapy services, financial responsibilities, informed consent, or privacy rights will be addressed through the applicable client documents and procedures rather than solely through these Website Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to the Practice and the Website, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal or other applicable law requires otherwise.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Relationship to Client Agreements
These Website Agreements govern your use of the Website.
They do not constitute a therapy treatment agreement, informed consent for psychotherapy, telehealth consent, financial responsibility agreement, Notice of Privacy Practices, or other clinical or contractual agreement governing professional services.
Your relationship with the Practice as a client is governed by the separate documents provided to you during the intake and treatment process.
If there is a conflict between these Website Agreements and a separate client agreement, informed consent document, financial policy, or applicable law, the applicable client agreement, legal requirement, or professional requirement will control to the extent applicable.
